Internet and Connectivity
Reliable Connectivity at Challenging Venues
A stable internet connection is essential for livestreaming. Before the event, we assess the available venue connection and determine the most suitable broadcast method.
Where reliable fixed internet is unavailable, mobile data or Starlink may be used, subject to coverage, signal quality and suitable equipment placement.
Venue Internet
Wired or wireless venue internet can be tested to confirm whether its upload speed and stability are suitable.
Mobile Connectivity
Mobile data may be suitable where network coverage and upload performance are strong enough for live video.
Starlink
Starlink can provide connectivity at many rural, outdoor and temporary event locations where conventional internet is unavailable.
No internet connection can be guaranteed to be completely interruption-free. Professional testing, preparation and backup planning significantly reduce the risk of disruption.
