From Club Roots to Festival Heights

DUTCH cut his teeth in Wellington’s clubs before residencies at Euroclub, Sugar Reef (Auckland), and Planet Earth. He went on to open Whangarei’s first techno bar, The Mezzanine, and later launched the massive nightclub Insomniakz, playing alongside legends like Sam Hill, Greg Churchill, General Lee, and Mikey Havoc.

Collaborations and appearances at The Old Stone Butterfactory and Salut (with Recloose, Nathan Haines, Soane) further shaped his sound. These experiences gave birth to his signature Jackin’ House style—deeply groovy, layered with funk, and always crowd-focused.
